The colors of the Rastafari movement are red, yellow, green, and black. The order of these colors has spiritual significance for Rastafarians.

Red signifies the blood of those killed for the cause of the black community, throughout Jamaican history. Green represents Jamaica’s vegetation and hope for the eradication of suppression. Gold symbolises the wealth of Ethiopia. Black signifies the colour of the Africans who initiated Rastafari. The Rastafari flag is associated with Reggae music and marijuana is a sacrament of the Rastafari.
“Jamrock” is a term that is often used to refer to Jamaica. It is a colloquial term derived from the words “Jamaica” and “rock,” likely influenced by the country’s reputation for its vibrant music scene, particularly reggae, which has its roots in Jamaica. The term is sometimes used affectionately or informally to denote the island nation’s culture, music, and lifestyle.
